ANTHONY LIM

Chairman

Anthony oversees the strategic direction, development and growth of the company. His extensive experience in complex risks in major local, regional and international markets provides Acclaim’s clients access to a wealth of knowledge and seasoned practical advice. His integrity and knowledge have been recognised by his peers, who voted him as President of Singapore Insurance Brokers Association (SIBA) from 1996 to 2010, making him the longest serving president in the association’s history. He was also the first person in Asia Pacific to be elected Chairman of the World Federation of Insurance Intermediaries (WFII), serving his term in 2007/08.

TONY LIM
Managing Director

Tony joined Acclaim as Managing Director in 2011 after having worked with some top global insurance brokers for the last 28 years. Tony’s role involves overseeing and managing the day to day operations of the company and to lead the team into the next level of growth and expansion. With vast experience across all classes of insurance, Tony also specialized in the structuring, implementing and servicing of Global and Regional risk solutions for clients in various industries including conglomerates with operations that span more than 20 countries.

GEORGE THOMAS
Executive Director

George has extensive experience in general insurance and has been in the industry since 1978. He specializes in the technical aspects of broking activities and provides to be a valuable resource for our fellow brokers. division George now focuses on Business Development, Corporate Sector for Acclaim and also overseers the claims division, assisting in complex claims and negotiations. George had served 4 terms as elected council member of the Singapore Insurance Brokers Association and relinquished his position in 2010.

ROBERT TAN
Executive Director

Robert started his career in 1975 at the Singapore branch of a well established British Insurer Co. and became the regional claims controller. Over the years, he has diversified from Claims to Insurance Broking. In Acclaim, he heads the company’s business development and has been successful in securing new business growth both locally and regionally. He services clients on all classes of insurance.
