Anthony oversees the strategic direction, development and growth of the company. His extensive experience in complex risks in major local, regional and international markets provides Acclaim’s clients access to a wealth of knowledge and seasoned practical advice. His integrity and knowledge have been recognised by his peers, who voted him as President of Singapore Insurance Brokers Association (SIBA) from 1996 to 2010, making him the longest serving president in the association’s history. He was also the first person in Asia Pacific to be elected Chairman of the World Federation of Insurance Intermediaries (WFII), serving his term in 2007/08.

NG CHENG QUEE

Cheng Quee is also our Director in charge of Claims. He assists clients in complex claims and negotiations. A pioneer and veteran of the industry since 1964 and an insurance broker for over 40 years, his experience stretches over all the major industries including real estate, construction and industrial. Cheng Quee is a Past President of the Singapore Insurance Brokers Association and Singapore Insurance Institute. He is also a Chartered Insurance Broker.

GEORGE THOMAS
Chief Operating Officer

George manages the day to day operations of the company, ensuring that our clients are serviced promptly, efficiently and professionally. Due to his extensive experience in general insurance since 1978, he now specialises in the technical aspects of broking activities. In addition, he is also directly involved in Financial Lines Products and Employee Benefits Programs. George has also gained peer recognition, and is currently serving his 8th year as an elected council member of the Singapore Insurance Brokers Association.

ROBERT TAN
Deputy Chief Operating Officer/
Director of Business Development

Robert started his career in 1975 at the Singapore branch of a well established British Insurer Co. and became the regional claims controller. Over the years, he has diversified from Claims to Insurance Broking. In Acclaim, he heads the company’s business development and has been successful in securing new business growth both locally and regionally. He services clients on all classes of insurance.
